The Lounge

So here is what you need to know about Strafe, “we’re a video game lounge and not a LAN center.”

The Strafe Lounge is a place that you can come with your friends and family to have an enjoyable gaming experience. Think of Strafe as an alternative to going to the movies or going bowling. The lounge is a family friendly environment; we have special hours for Track-Out/Camp participants, we uphold all the ESRB game ratings and waivers must be signed for under aged gamers.

Lobby: Our front lobby area has a nice cocktail table and sitting table/chairs with a computer available for all customers to surf the web(even though most people just check their facebook the whole time). Strafe has great fridge/microwave setup and customers can purchase White Castle Cheeseburgers, Hot Pockets, Pizzas, Mac & Cheese and much more. Strafe also has a fully stocked Movie theater style display case with all the sweets and energy drinks you can ask for including Code Red and Monsters.

Gaming Area: We have semi-private setups for each gaming group. When you come the the front desk and pickup your game and controller, you are assigned a system station. At each station we have gamer rocking chairs, couches, side tables, lamps and 42″ high definition televisions. Strafe currently has 10 xbox 360s, 2 xbox Kinects, 6 Playstation 3, 1 Playstation Move and 4 Wii Systems in addition to the classic corner with PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, SNES, N64 and Atari!

Projector: In the back of Strafe you will find a 100″ projector with full 1080p high definition. The Projector is hooked up to a Playstation 3 and an Xbox 360 and can be used for intense gaming, Rock Band 3 (with over 225 songs) and Blu-Ray movies.  During tournaments, spectators can take part in all the action from the big screen.

Gaming Memorabilia and Characters: All throughout Strafe you will find full sized iconic characters and gaming stuff…just look around.
